Lynx 21

Quick question, has anyone used the Lynx 21 bus to get to Universal Studios and how easy was it to get from International Drive to there?

Do you mean how easy is it from Universal to I Drive? I assume you realise the 21 doesn't go down I Drive? It goes down Turkey Lake Road, along Vineland Rd, up Universal Blvd and drops off at Universal. Hope this helps but not sure of your question sorry.

Ah, sorry - I do realise it doesn't go down I-Drive. The hotel I'm staying at is on i-Drive, but the plan is to walk to the stop on Turkey Lake Road (by the Drury Inn & Suites) to then catch the bus from there. Wasn't sure if it did drop off at Universal or just dropped you off on Universal Blvd, so thanks for the info

Which hotel are you staying at on IDrive? IDrive is 11 miles long.

Rosen inn international - seems to be a 10 minute walk to the bus stop, was wondering if anyone had any experience with the buses to the parks (if they're not too reliable, I'll get a taxi or an uber)

My experience of Lynx buses are that they are pretty reliable but I may have just got lucky! Uber would be far less hassle and they are super reliable, cheap and hassle free! That's what I would use

I'm not familiar with the Lynx 21, but if it's a 10 min walk to the stop, it may be easier / about the same to get the ITrolley up IDrive, get off at Wet & Wild and then Walk down Universal Boulevard to Universal. It has been our traditional 1st day walk for 4 of 5 trips now. This year we walked from Pointe Orlando to Burger King (which if I'm right is opposite your hotel) then hopped on the ITrolley to W&W (to give our legs a little break) and then walked the rest - as you can see, we love this part of the walk..

If you are feeling adventurous, then you could even walk the whole way

Rosen inn international does a free shuttle to universal, easier than the bus.

We stayed at Rosen @ Pointe, we got the hotel shuttle to go to Universal and either got the shuttle back or got a taxi back. Taxi cost $20 including tip. Bit of advice best to get the early bus as the later morning ones are always standing room only.

We stayed here too and used Uber to go back and forth the Universal (apart from our traditional 1st day walk ). We generally paid $5.50-$6.50 each way - except on Saturday after Mardis Gras when it was $9.50 (on a 1.4 surge and in traffic).

It just goes to show how much more Taxis are - surely they will need to drop their prices at some point to be competitive!
