Cancelling BA car- charge?

We need to cancel the car (BA flydrive). I have read threads from others who have not picked up cars from Virgin and it was all fine but someone else told me that if you don't pick up the car, they may cancel your return flights!? I really don't want to risk that but does anyone know what the cancellation charge will be if I call them now to cancel?

They will absolutely not cancel your return flights if you don't collect the car. Just don't pick it up and everything will be fine. Calling them may result in an amendment fee so not worth the hassle. Loads of folk don't collect the car.

Absolute rubbish, totally separate arrangements. Just don't pick up the car, no cancellation charges then.
