ESTA Renewal or Risk It?

Hi everyone
We went to Florida May 2015 our ESTAs were done in Jan so they should expire Jan 2017 (I think). We are looking at going back to the states in September this year. Would people normally take out a new ESTA or just go with the same one?
Thank you!

I am pretty sure they last 2 years so you should be ok. Log back in and check just in case.

There is no risk here. They will still be vaild so don't need a new one.

We did our Estas in May 2014 for our first trip October that year we are off again in April and I've been led to believe our esta Is still okay, we checked only the other week and it's still showing as authorised , only esta we have applied for is my daughters boyfriend as he hasn't been to America before. I don't think it's risking it at all if it's valid you are fine... plus I think it only has to be valid on date of entry into USA too do you have plenty of usable date on it

Yes they last 2 years from approval (not from the date of travel) unless you've had a new passport since.

New passport = new ESTA

You can check the status of your ESTA on the website - https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

(And there's no such thing as renewing an ESTA. They expire after two years, or when you get a new passport.)
