Universal tickets - Issue with Blackout days

I have an issue with tickets ordered through Undercover Tourist.

I bought tickets last week which were 2 days with 3 days extra free. Previously they had a blackout period of the whole of July.

We're going in July.

Last week the undercover tourist website was advertising the deal without a blackout. As a result I jumped on them.

When they sent the e-tickets though they still stated they were blacked out the whole of July.

I got straight on to them and they said they would contact Universal to have the tickets re-issued as Universal had definitely removed the blackout days.

Result was that apparently Universal have said they can't re-issue but I should go to customer services when I get there and they will sort it out.

Undercover tourist said I should take their email with me and if there are any issue's then phone undercover from the park.

Obviously I'm a bit worried that my $1000 worth of tickets will be useless.
Do any of the more experienced Universal goers have any thoughts on whether this could all end in tears?
I have tried to find an email at Universal to ask them direct, but can't find anything.

I've grabbed screen shots from Undercover and they were good enough to call me from the US to explain things to me...but obviously concerned.

Thoughts and/or suggestions are welcome...
