Deluxe Dining Plan
We will be on our way to Disney in 15 days. We have booked two rooms one of which has the Deluxe Dining Plan.
We are looking at sharing Table Credits but wonder if anyone has come across any restaurants which have not accepted Deluxe DP sharing. PS. We know you cannot share on buffet and show dining.

Have you actually booked the Deluxe DP? as that is the only way to have that version.
Or are you talking about the DDP? Could make a difference to what your asking regarding sharing.

The room with the Deluxe plan can use TS credits to pay for guests in the 2nd room, no problem.
Do they have the normal Disney Dining Plan (DDP) in the 2nd room? If so, they could use some of their TS credits for dinner, and you can add credits from the Deluxe plan. For instance, if you're all going to a signature restaurants (let's say 4 adults), it would be a total of 8 TS credits. Room 1 (Deluxe plan) could use 6 credits and room 2 (DDP) would use 2 credits. |

Yes we have booked the Deluxe as we want to share TS meals etc between two rooms. On this site earlier this year that some people were having difficulty with one or two restaurants who would not let them include ‘guests’
Could not find the original thread but though someone may remember which restaurants were involved.

We were certainly allowed to pay for our friends with our credits in BOG one evening so I’m sure you’ll have no issues at all.
We were also asked if we’d like to do that in Morimoto

I have just booked it for the same set up as you and the guy on the phone said it would be fine to share credits across the rooms. I cant imagine any restaurant on the ddp not taking them as long as they get the required amount i doubt they will care :-)

The server won’t know who’s in which room anyway, they will just take payment from one person.

The issue about whether the plan is deluxe or not is actually a moot point. Anyone with DDP credits can choose to use them to pay for food for ‘guests’. You are fine. Enjoy 👍
