Where are you staying? If you are at a Disney resort they normally have activities on.

We went to MNSHP wish we had changed it to another night as there was loads going on else where. The resort had there own activities on also got advised that it was nice to go round the camping areas as they we where meant to be nicely decorated. Even the shopping centres outlet malls have trick o treat stands when we where there.

Deffo go trick or treating in Celebration, we did it last year and it was an amazing experience for the children(Even me) . Halloween is on another level in the states, the houses are decorated brilliant ad there is a great buzz. One thing i would say is go to celebration early lunch time as they start trick or treating crazy early, we left it until 5pm and it took nearly an hour to drive into the town so myself and DD jumped out of the car while DH found parking (nitemare). we plan going extra early next year

What time does trick or treating start in celebration and where can you park?

The police in the town said people start about 2/3pm. You can park anywhere along the streets outside houses its a big enough town. We parked right at the back of the town beside a little league pitch. The town has regular car parks too, again early arrival is key

Another vote for celebration- we went last year too and loved it! We got there about half 3 - went for a walk around the lake, went for dinner at the Town Tavern and then went trick or treating. We parked easily just up from the Town Tavern at that time. When we left about half 7 there were crazy ques to get in. So worth it though - they really go all out!

To those who trick or treated in Celebration: did you all wear fancy dress or just the children? And I know this sounds like a silly question but is it just the same as when you trick or treat in the UK: you take a little bag, knock on the door, and say trick or treat?

My children just dressed up not the adults but there were loads of adults dressed up too!

Yup take a little bag as you would here - the residents tend to sit out on there porch or stand outside (many are dressed up too) to hand out sweets - we didn't knock on any doors. X
