I think we have everything bought for holidays now though. just need to make up our wee 'just in case' case which consists of things like bluster plasters, Paracetamol, gaviscon, normal plasters, vitamins, my meds, eye drops... Yes i like to pack for ALL occasions hahahah!

nothing exciting to report though, sorry!
I am exactly the same and take loads of things for ‘just incase’ issues that might come up, my hubby thinks I’m crazy but I like to be prepared for anything 😁

it doesn't hurt anyone to be over-prepared haha. I usually take a shoe organiser (you know those ones that go over the door?) but, i don't think that is going to work this year because the revamped animal kingdom rooms now have a funky sliding door into the bathroom

oh man, i'm so looking forward to the snacks haha

we go to disney this month!

kids have their spending monies all sorted I'm thinking though... instead of the kids having physical dollars each, i thought of getting them a gift card each and they can use it when they go buy something and they'll see how much is left on the gift card once it's been used. I think i'd much rather have 2 (different) gift cards in my purse than a wad of $$ notes. what do you think? i know the kids can't pay for things with their magic bands otherwise i'd have them just do that

oh man, double digits tomorrow! it's come in so quick and i think we're all sorted.
  • ESTA
  • Hotel info for Disney ✔
  • planning itinerary ✔
  • hotel and car parking plans ✔
  • someone to look after doggo and the hamsters ✔
  • passports ✔
  • $$$'s ✔
  • Walmart shop sitting in the basket waiting to be ordered ✔

bag packing i'd say was at around an 80%. There's obviously some things i cannot pack at the moment but i think we're good... i hope!

is there anything i'm missing?!

3 more sleeps and we'll be off to Manchester, then off to Disney! it's come around so quickly but this week has been the longest ever! going to check we have everything on the friday night then everything is good to go.

Anxiety has been through the roof though ( i have GAD, Panic disorder and social anxiety issues) i think it's a mix of excitement and anxiety but it's hard to distinguish between the two now. I'm just always scared i'm going to take a panic attack on the plane as i get very claustrophobic feeling when taking an attack

but we will think happy thoughts! happy happy happy

I'm trying to look forward to the sun and the snacks, hha!

Exciting I can’t wait to read your trip report, I suffer from anxiety and flying freaks me out so i understand your fear, happy thoughts and you will be great. Have a fantastic holiday.

oh man, driving to Manchester tomorrow but with all the news with Thomas Cook my anxiety has exploded! panic attack this afternoon and now the idea of driving all the way down there to find that they're no longer operating... my little brain is going 10 to the dozen.

replacement flights are looking at 3k+ and with no idea when this actual announcement will take place i'm so on edge!

Ok breathe, calmly. TC are not making a decision I believe until 1st October. Even if they do go bust when you are out the ere you will get home (should be at no expense to yourself) other airlines will step in to help stranded passengers xx

I hope so. We are en route to Manchester right now. I think I will finally be able to breathe once I have my butt on a plane and we take off!
