I thought-technically - you could only use any form of disney transportation if you have a valid ticket in your possession (although I'm not aware of anyone being checked)

So given the amount of folk using them it will likely take forever to get anywhere on it.
The main track does not stop to allow ECV's & wheelchairs to access. At each station there is a secondary track where a gondola is switched to to allow the loading of these separately whilst stationary. Then the gondola is fed back into the main track, the main track keeps running. I have just come back and whilst I couldn't ride I watched the process.

Thanks for the video really looking forward to using these in three weeks. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on folding pushchairs? I’m assuming it will be the same as the buses

In a video I saw, it showed a pushchair being wheeled on with the child in it, rather than being carried on folded up like you do on buses.

If a stroller is no larger than 30ins x 48ins they can be pushed on (according to the signs at the stations) without folding. Otherwise I think they would have to be folded up.

Without wishing to get involved in the "does it stop of doesn't it" debate how will that work in peak periods?

My reasoning for this question is that on a cable car system you must have a spacing that ensures only a maximum amount of cars are on each section of the system (between the pylons) at any one time. Now obviously if a car is taken off the system that space will become empty on the cable, so how do they find a space to replace the car on the system without having to wait for the space on the cable to complete the full circuit and come back around again.

I'm not sure you're aware of how these systems work.

The cars aren't connected to a fixed point of cable.

The cable moves continuously and when a car is ready to leave a station it clamps onto that moving cable which then transports it to the next station.

As such you don't have to "wait for a gap" at any time - cars are simply allowed to leave the station as and when required, which is usually with pre-determined gaps between each one.
