Daytona beach

Looking to stay on Daytona beach for 4 nights , we want a 2 bed 2 bath apartment/ condo /house . Seen some that look nice but they all seem to be managed by home away/vrbo or airbnb and reports on those companies don't fill me with confidence.
Has anyone stayed in that area or used those companies before.?
Or am I better just booking 2 rooms in a hotel instead ?
Any dibbers own a villa in that area that we could rent

HomeAway, VRBO and Airbnb do not own any property, they are only a booking agent who charge fees for the privilege.

We have friends who live in nearby port orange and we usually stay with them but this time there's 4 of us and it's over thanksgiving and the build up to a family wedding so they have no room for us to stay , then we are heading off on a cruise
