Game have XBox Series X on their website this morning to pre order with a delivery date of 18th Dec.

It keeps saying that but it wont allow you to add it to basket 😢😢😢

If it helps the Emma mattresses are on a good Wowcher deal just now.
I would keep the bed as it is a bargain and just keep looking for the Xbox even if it is for after Christmas.

In your shoes I’d keep the bed. Your children have understood the value of money by making the choice between the bed or gifts - if you choose to overrule that and can afford to do so that’s up to you
You may have more luck with the x box once lockdown is over and you can physically go to a shop? How old is your son? Would he be happy with the promise of an Xbox when it is in stock? The saga of the extra bed might be a funny Xmas morning anecdote?
