Had my appointment with the psychiatrist and he’s going to refer me back to the cpn and to an occupational therapist.
I still feel very awful, he doesn’t want to change my meds, so I guess it’s just a case so waiting and hoping I improve. I just don’t know what to do. |

It’s good that he’s referred you back to the cpn and an occupational therapist too. Hopefully that will help.
I’m guessing that they want you to stick with the current medication as some take a while to show any benefit but I can understand how difficult that must be if you aren’t feeling any better yet. |

More positive stuff than negative stuff Hexy! A referral is good. You may not be thinking the meds are right or working as you would wish right this minute but try thinking that they are working but just slowly - give them a bit more time. We have all done it, how many of us are put on antibiotics for something n told to take them for five days or 10 days but after 2 thirds the way thru the course we think "well I feel fine now, I won't bother with rest of the course" ! You are put on these things to take the course how ever long they think you should be on them, so trust that they are working & stop keep looking for a result - hopefully they will build up & kick in soon but just keep thinking 'today it's one day nearer to the result I want' & hopefully one day soon it will be!
Hang in there you CAN make it, your already being proactive rather than doing nothing.

I’m struggling this evening, I was sort okay during the day but this evening has been awful. I just want to curl up in a hole. I should probably be asleep but I’m watching Tim tracker. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Sorry to hear you were struggling last night. I think the dark winter nights are very long and difficult for all of us. It helps if you can find something to do in the evening, such as watching Tim Tracker
How is your crocheting coming along, or did you decide to knit instead? I find crafting relaxing in the evenings. I’ve started card making this year as a hobby through lockdown and it passes the time and relaxes me. Hope you feel better today xx Edited at 11:33 AM. |
