Did you see the bit about occupational Pensions the other day and the recalculation of the way increases are awarded using another increase indicator instead of CPI?

It was concluded that women would be disadvantaged

Why? - Because they live longer

Equalisation of state pension is no more than a money saving exercise.

If women live longer surely mens pension should start earlier? That would be equality

Women 66

Surely women get more state pension than men ?

Standing back... now! 😊🤣

I do feel I have aged this year though by not seeing the grandkids so much, I do think they keep you young.

We are lucky one stays with us and we provide essential child care for the other 2 pre schoolers
We have older relatives with us right now and the kids have certainly kept them going and given them a new lease on life
The only time the sit in a rocking chair is when they are telling the kids stories and only cause the kids insist

I think I may be past it by the time any grandchildren appear - certainly no sign of any arriving anytime soon. I don’t feel I’m missing out though...
