Parking key west

Where is good to park in key west? Looking at enjoying a day there on our trip.

We were there a couple of months ago. I’m afraid I can’t remember the street but we parked in a car park about 10mins walk from Malory square. It was also part of the post office. You pay an attendant.

Plenty of parking to be had (if you get there early enough), the only problem is the price is going to make your eyes water.

Some parking behind the Hogs Breath Saloon but that is even more expensive and some 'private' parking lots, but you will only be able to find them by driving around.

We found free parking in Fort St. next to the naval base.

We have stayed at the West Winds Inn on Eaton Street twice and there's plenty of free on-street parking nearby. Just remember to park facing the right way, or be fined!

We found a free car park at Higgs Beach, it was about a 10 minute walk into the main area (we stopped at the Southernmost point first) and the Duval Loop bus (which was fantastic for getting around in the heat of July).

I really enjoyed our day visit to Key West, would love to go back! So much going on
