‘No junk mail’ signs

Just in the last 2 days we’ve had the charity bags, an estate agent flyer, a gym flyer and an Indian takeaway menu through our door. All at separate times.

Do the deliverers actually pay attention to the stickers asking for them not to be delivered? We don’t have one yet but I am tempted if they actually work.

Just seems to be every day!

I’m tempted to put one up too so interested in responses! We’ve not long moved house and I’ve not lived anywhere that receives so much junk mail. It seems to be the postie who is delivering most of it too 🤷🏻

Postie won't put them in the letterbox if you have a sign but they have to deliver anything with your name and address on even if it's junk mail
You can't stop leaflet distributors though

I have one that says

No cold callers
No junk mail.

It does work. I wish I had put one up years ago.

royal mail will stick the junk mail through regardless of a sign. you can however opt out, just google door to door opt out and itll tell you how to do it.

We have certainly seen a difference since we got one. We still get Royal Mail junk but little else.

Yes, we have a no junk mail sticker on our letter box. I've written underneath it in Sharpie "and no charity bags". It works approx 85% of the time! Has been well worth it.

Definitely contact Royal Mail to stop anything they get paid to deliver. Take a few weeks but worth it
Also it out on the Mail Preference Service so companies can't buy your details to mail you. I've done this for everyone at my address so DH doesn't get anything either.

I have one and it stops 99% of the rubbish. I mean, I can’t eat takeaways if I’m selling my house 😉
