Salon v Mobile hairdresser

Just interested in your views about having a mobile hairdresser compared to a salon.

Salon for me, I just enjoy the whole luxury of it.

I would have mobile hairdresser apart from me having highlights and roots done so not prepared to have all that mess at home .

Mobile - I just wouldn’t find the time to go to as salon. I have had the same one for about 14 years and I trust her completely. I found her through a friend and so glad I did. Wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone else now.

I would follow my current hairdresser. She currently works in a salon but if she went mobile I'd follow, if she'd have me.

Salon for me , I have a cut and colour every 4 weeks so in there a good 2.5 hrs , just far easier and less messy to be in a salon.

Oh gosh, I couldn't think of anything worse than going to a salon! And I certainly don't have time for it.

My mobile hairdresser has been colouring/ highlighting my roots every 5 weeks for over 20 years. I consider her a very good friend now. She comes in the evening.

There's absolutely no mess, she brings in 2 baskets, and several towels. While my colour is on, she chops my husband's hair, and very often trims my teenage boys too (although they do love the Turkish Barbers as well).

I honestly couldn't think of a better way!

I hate the time it takes sitting in a salon, and especially hate looking at myself in a mirror for three hours, but, when I had hair done at home previously hated bending over my bath for hair wash, and the door going, and the kids pestering etc...
I would ideally like my hairdresser to have a salon shed at her home, just for me! 😂

Edited to add, while my colour is on I usually write my xmas cards or have even nipped home to sort washing etc
