The end of the latest Lloyds Bank advert with the black horse on the beach was filmed at Beadnell - so not too far from your recent adventures.

Also The WHite Swan in Alnwick has a lot of the original fitments of the RMS Olympic sister ship to the Titanic and are identical to those found on that doomed ship

Barter books is the best bookshop I have ever been to. Love the white swan, we stayed there the weekend pubs closed for lockdown
