We’re having our two granddaughters over from Sunday to Wednesday next week! They get up at 5.30 normally! Its gonna be fun but knackering! I might be sleeping at 7.30 when they go to bed!
They are nearly 3 and just 5! Might go to the beach or Colchester zoo!

Well that’s our Grandparenting duty done for the Summer Holidays 5 nights & 6 days, we’ve just driven him home to Ramsgate, where he is now showing Mummy & Daddy his maps of all the places he visited with us, including the Farm the Museum & the Theme Park
Last morning spent with his little cousin who adores him 💕💞
We are going on our 30 mile bike ride tomorrow to recover
We might have a nice lunch out too
And I’ll be back to more than once a day on the Dibb now I’ve got some time

Happy Holidays to all us Grandparents have FUN

Grandson having a sleepover in Essex tonight, we saw all the Grandkids while we still can 😷🙁as thinking we might go the same way as Scotland seeing as we always follow Nicola Sturgeon 🙄
Day out at the Theme Park quite busy at least the rain held off

We are lucky as gds2 lives with us and we are principal child care for gds1 and Gd2
Dad is an essential worker and mum has never really had any mat leave at all finished work on March 22 but worked from home till gd born mid April had 4 weeks off and back to wfh but she’s found it really hard with a 4 year old and a5 month old so we can have them as she’s in student finance and as you can guess it’s an absolute nightmare right now but it’s like child abandonment they are handed over at the nursery gate and picked back up there
We are lucky as both gds are in the same nursery bubble so they see each other 5 days a week
