Question Transport from universal hotel to Disney hotel

As we don’t drive aboard we where thinking to make our links between the parks easier we where thinking of staying at a universal hotel for 3 nights (with Supershuttle transport from MCO airport to universal hotel) then for the next 12 days of our 2 week trip staying at a Disney world hotel with magical express from our hotel to MCO at end of holiday. So when we stay on property at both resorts we get easy transport links between their hotels and parks and benefit from the companies hotel benefits. The only issue we are struggling with is how to get from our universal hotel to our Disney world hotel in between the holiday with our 2 cases and 2 hand luggage, does anyone have any suggestions or experience of doing what we are planning ?

We got an Uber between our Universal hotel and our hotel on International Drive which we used for our Disney base. We used Uber for all of our trips to and from Disney too and from and to the airport. Very easy, quick and reliable

This is what we did on our November trip and just used Uber. It only cost $25 from Art of Animation to Rosen Inn at Pointe.

Hi. Uber all the way. Last year we stayed at Cabana Bay and Coronado Springs. Used Uber from the airport and getting from Universal to Disney. From memory I think it was in the region for $17-$20 to get from Universal to Disney.

We have done it with Uber XL 5 of us but only 3 cases or Meers (via Disney concierge) when there where 7 of us and 6 large cases- cheaper than 2 uber XL- Easy and quick- just make sure you account for luggage room- Uber I'm sure it was around 30 dollars (plus tip) - Meers was about 50 dollars

We’ve done Uber and used one of the cars from Universal Uber is definitely cheaper, but it was our first time doing a split stay, and I was REALLY skeptical about Uber then.

This is exactly what we did. 4 adults, 2 children, umpteen cases and bags. Cheaper with Mears booked at AKL to Hard Rock.
