My husband was due to go to Northumberland on a golf trip with his golf buddies next weekend. They were all travelling separately and each had own rooms at hotel etc. but have now had to call it off (we live in Scotland).

I was looking forward to having the house to myself for a couple of days.

Love Berwick and the Kielder Forest a bit further South. Jedburgh is also an interesting place.

There were seven of them going (all different households). They had also planned to split to have evening meal etc. but with being recommended not to travel to the North East of England and the number of them involved (although they had planned it carefully) it’s all been called off.
