Anyone thinking of moving their Santander 123 account with announcement of changes?

We also put money in premium bonds when we closed the other 123 accounts. They do quite well so I suppose we could always add to them. Just need to decide whether it's worth keeping the account at all. We don't earn much cashback so not sure it would be worth having the lite account but not sure I really want to leave. We used to have our mortgage with them through Alliance and Leicester but paid that off last year.

We have 2 and split our bills across so the cash back pays the fees but at 1% interest we’ll definitely close one. It’s a shame as we have had several accounts with them but gradually moving everything away.

we have 3 123 accounts & the interest more than covers the account fee of £5 on each, so I think we'll just keep the accounts running for the time being

I have been using for a while and more than breaking even, but have been shifting my current type spending over to Starling. Much happier there.

But will be spending some.time at the weekend looking at what Martin recommends.

It's a faff as I like to pay by standing order rather than DD so it's more of a pain to change accounts.

Lite might be an option.
