I don’t remember reading magazines when I was younger but definitely into Smash Hits in my teens.
TV programmes would be Mr Benn, Bod, Camberwick Green, Trumpton, Ivor the Engine and Mary Mungo & Midge. Also loved Grange Hill and The Red Hand Gang when I was a bit older.

I remember getting off the school bus one night and finding a colour TV had been delivered by Rediffusion. Humpty and Hambil were in colour! Not black and white! It BLEW my mind.
