Fridge freezing then melting making everything wet - soz for dull question!
Hi all
I’m so sorry for dull question but I’m not sure what to do. We have a new(ish) fridge and it’s freezing at the back in little droplets, then melting making everything wet. The fridge is not over full and it’s supposedly frost free what can we do to stop this? The reason I say supposedly is we are in a new build, it’s integrated and was put in by the builder and we paid quite a bit extra for a frost free one but I don’t know if that just relates to the freezer? Any advice welcome! Thanks

Mine does this as well, I just have to make sure nothing touches the back of the fridge, and make sure the small hole where the water drains is not blocked. I don’t know if this helps.

At the very back inside is there a tiny drain opening if something is clogged in mine it does this
I’ve got a little plastic thing that you poke down but a cotton bud or cocktail stick works just as well |

Have you got the instructions? I was going to say about the drain hole as our fridge is less than 2 years old but also does this. I try to make sure things don't touch the back and did turn the fridge down from max at one point.

I can’t find them I have a house pack with everything in it but it’s the only thing missing. It’s only recently started doing this. Maybe I do need to turn it down. 🤔

That's the ting to clean the drain with
I also don't have anything roughing the back of the fridge and have to make sure my lot don't put stuff on the shelfs that stops the door shelfs foing inproperly and the door not being properly closed which they are guilty of |

The skeptic in me thinks the same that it’s not actually frost free - that said the freezer is fine.
