A lovely thing just happened.

The loveliest thing just happened here. I was sat watching strictly when all of a sudden there was a lot of cars beeping, loud voices cheering and lots of flashing lights outside. Looked out to see loads of cars, vans, lorries etc going past, all lit up, people dressed like Santa etc, like a carnival, waving to all the houses, it's made me quite tearful, such a lovely thing to do 💟

How lovely. We had similar on Friday evening. Santa on a sled.

It really lifted my spirits.

DS has spent the day checking Santa’s Sleigh lights and that it connects up to DH truck
To go round their village I might have to drive the truck if we have to press gang Santa
We are going past our grandkids house too
Haven’t towed anything for years so L plates might be in order

We also had Santa visit, it's a community fundraiser. The elves collect cold hard cash that's shared with local schools/care homes etc. Thankfully it was dry this year.
Nice to see a bit of joy brought to people.

Our local council decided in its wisdom to cancel Santa's sleigh this year due to covid. A lot of disappointed children.
