Me! We had one given as a wedding present, my new DH set it up so we would have a lovely cuppa first thing. Unfortunately he left some cardboard in the tea pot and the tea was vile 😂

Same here, ours was a wedding present too. I found the actual process woke me up before the alarm went off.

Ah I remember my nana having one- thought I was the bees knees bringing nana a cuppa- I was always awake too before the alarm went off though.

My Grandparents bought one when he retired in the mid 1950's. Never used it once!

I do remember them but never actually had one. As others I am always the first one up so make the tea and get the breakfast dishes ready.

My mum and dad had one when I was a kid. (Exactly the model in the first photo.) I used to wake up in the morning thinking the Flying Scotsman had just arrived at Platform 1.

So darn noisy you didn't need the alarm going off to tell you it was ready.
