I’m sure Biden wants to get a quicker and more comprehensive rollout of vaccine before he loosens restrictions. The mutations may even prompt him to tighten the restrictions already in existence.
US rollout is currently slow and due to states having their own priority setting abilities very confused. I have partners in the US who dependent upon which of their houses they are in (apartment in New York or family house in say Connecticut) qualify to be vaccinated at different times. Half the calls I am on at the moment involve my US colleagues comparing requirements. Edited at 04:51 PM. |

You are correct. As this is a travel board predominantly geared to visitors from the UK, I was generalizing (for which I’ve already apologized). However, Mr. Biden’s new Health Secretary seems to be of the mindset to broaden travel restrictions to include some who have been open to US travel up to now. We shall see.
