We’ve stayed at the Hilton and Premier Inn, both connected to terminal 4 by a covered walkway. PI was a lot cheaper and a really nice stay. Terminal 4 is served by an internal railway that links to terminal 2 and 3 .

Lots of people like the Premier Inn T4 which as dietcokebreak says you can connect to the other terminals for free. Lots of hotels on Bath Road are convenient as well. We stayed at the Marriott on Bath Road and would recommend it, we were looking for a hotel that would allow us to keep our car on site for our holiday, and at the time the Marriott was the cheapest.

The Sofitel is very good and linked to terminal 5. They also do on site parking and you leave your car at the hotel. If this suits have a look at Holiday extras, it will be cheaper than booking direct.

If you're flying from Terminal 5, then I'd go for the Thistle. Great viewing area from the bar/restaurant area and an easy transfer from the hotel by using the Heathrow Pod.

Another vote for the Thistle for T5. It's become a staple part of our trips from LHR. We usually park there too. The hotel itself could do with some modernisation, but it's perfectly clean and comfortable - and the pod is so convenient.

I have stayed both at the Marriott & Renaissance on Bath Road. Both in the Heathrow bus "free ride zone" ... ten minutes from T1/T2 bus station.

We stayed in the Premier Inn on Bath Road last weekend. We booked it last minute and it was £44 for 3 of us. Had to pay to park overnight though. It was very close to the airport, we thought it was a great hotel for the price.
