Mobile Would you book NYC for Nov 21?

We were due to go to NYC in November for thanksgiving with our 12 & 14 year old and was obviously cancelled. BA have some fantastic deals on for the same time, my 2 both have 2 training days every November so they don’t have to miss any school.

I’m eager to book something, but wondering if anyone is risking booking something towards the end of next year in the US? £1400 for 4 of us, 4 nights flight & hotel is such a good price and cheaper than what we were paying for the same dates this year!

We've booked for 1st October flying into San Francisco and out of San Diego with a car through BA. I have booked nearly all accomodation and had to pay half up front for Yosemite national park. If the worst comes to it we will cancel and get vouchers, again. I have 3 trips booked for next year 🙏 I like to have something to look forward to. ☺

We have booked 7 nights in New York 14th October, with a £350 deposit only I’m willing to risk it.

Really looking forward to it, never been before and only booked it as we were watching home alone 2 and ds said that looks nice there😂

The more I look into it the more I find to do, can’t wait.

We were in NYC for Thanksgiving last year and I have been eyeing up flights for next year. We have Florida booked for Summer but BAs cancellation cover only goes up until end of Aug that's what's keeping me from booking NY at the moment.

I’m waiting for dates at the end of December, and will book NY. We were supposed to be going 28 December this year, so moving back a year. Currently got summer booked for Florida, but can cancel with BA if needed.

It's amazing, we didn't do everything we wanted when we went in 2018 so desperate to go back & take the kids with us this time! What hotel did you book?

We went at the start of Nov in 2018, so didn't get to see the Rockefeller tree, then I read you're trippy and need to go at Thanksgiving! I am dubious about booking with the cancellation cover ATM. I'm due to have a big surgery at some point next year, could be May, could be December for all we know with covid, so would rather be able to cancel and change if I book & the a surgery date close to booking!

Yep, we were supposed to go on 24th Nov this year, the kids were gutted and it's my 40th next year, so I want to do something special, but I am just not sure. We're not going back to Florida till 2022 at the moment.

I may book but with the expectation of it not happening then I might get a pleasant surprise - but personally I am not planning on USA opening up next year but if it does I will be on the next safe flight out .
