How times have changed. We have gone in a generation from having a simple cup of tea or coffee in bed to now having these coffee shops where you have to have an Engineering degree to work the machine and there are about 300 different varieties of coffee to select from!

We were happy to have a teas made not that long ago, probably 15 years in our previous house, when we were installing new heating and doing some renovations. The house was over 500 years old and cold! we slept on the third floor, the kitchen was 2 floors down. We used it for coffee with a coffee bag in a China coffee pot, with those little coffee creamer pots. Felt like luxury to make up to a fresh hot cup of coffee whilst we decided who was getting up first to go and get the downstairs fires going.
