Hi getting prices with dfch and usually use Alamo but thrifty is coming out £120 cheaper. Just wondering what they are like do you still get to choose your car is picking up your car at mco as easy do they try hitting you with extra charges etc. Sorry for all the questions but with that saving tempted not to go with Alamo. Also it’s thrifty sapphire whatever that is cheers mike.

It's the same company and cars as Dollar, unless its changed the car is allocated to you at the desk, and there is no option to skip the counter like with Alamo.

They do have something called ‘blue chip rewards’ which allows you to skip the counter, but it’s either not open to UK visitors or you maybe have to book direct with Thrifty.
Their website does say that at a ‘choice location’ you can choose any car in the class you’ve booked, but I can’t find a list of the choice locations!🤷
