I don't see what the cabin crew could have done even if your mum or dad had spoken to them, I'm assuming the plane was full? It could have caused a lot of embarrassment had they have spoken to him about it.

Not nice for your parents though or the man in question

Totally agree although they would not have spoken to Cabin crew,but no the plane wasn't full although the bubble was.

By speaking to the cabin crew it would soon have been established whether or not the aircraft was full and if not then a solution would have been available.
