It is irrelevant for pay. I never mentioned holiday hours, just pay.
I agree that contractual hours contract have a set number of holiday hours and zero hour contracts do not so it tends to be a percentage of each hour worked to accumulate hols hours. But if part time contract and you do extra hours your holiday hours do not increase, but your pay does and therefore your holiday pay must also increase, even though you are not entitled to any more holiday hours, just money per hour of holiday than your normal hourly rate.
