Mobile International Drive - Food

Currentley in Florida on our 2nd day, where are the best places to go for tea on Idrive? Or buffet style places? Weve been to millers loads of times so want a change, not to expensive but also not typical chains, Thankyou.

Tony Roma’s is good if you like ribs. Well worth a visit.

Red Lobster for sea food. Sweet Tomatoes for mainly their salad buffet but they have lots of other bits & bobs.

I can’t think of any non-chain places to eat on Int Drive - it’s probably expensive real estate and only affordable by the chains.

Sounds a bit odd but a couple of hotels - Rosen Plaza and Rosen Centre, have very good restaurants, table service or buffet. Plus good bar lounges to sit and relax afterwards. All open to the public.

Have eaten at many places on I-Drive over the years. Maggiano's Little Italy at Pointe Orlando is a favourite of ours. Not cheap, but have never had a bad meal there.

We also quite like Hooters - and it's not tacky either, it is seen as a family restaurant over there.

As mentioned I-drive tends to be the chains like Applebee, outback, longhorns, hooters, millers, golden coral etc. Sandlake Road to the west of I-drive has lots of restaurants that are not part of a chain, but not necessarily cheap.

We had an amazing lunch at B.B. Kings Blues Club.
Always planned on going back for a meal at night and to see the house band.
