Any Oop (not crt) character dinners that aren't buffet or family style?

Trying to think of a ts to pay out of pocket for (we have qsdp) ds's 7th birthday. Would really like a character one as they feel a bit more special but don't really want to pay loads and my kids just pick at a buffet-dd will be 15 but doesn't even fill one plate at buffets-I'm not sure she can actually be related to me tbh! 🤣

Storybook dining isn’t buffet or family style but it is still a fixed price. Trattoria al Forna has an a la crate kids section on the menu, it is character for breakfast only. Otherwise, no I don’t think so.

Akershus lunch and tea you pick your main from a menu. There’s also the buffet for salads and stuff and a set trio of desserts. I haven’t tried it though only had breakfast but they have what look like Ikea meatballs 😊Storybook dining is set menu but again you choose your main and the characters are ace. We quite liked the mains that we chose. As above Trattoria al Forno for breakfast - it’s really good and a nice change. I enjoyed the breakfast calzone or the steak and eggs is popular. I think that’s it that’s non buffet/family style unless I have missed one.

Storybook dining was the best character dining experience we did in August.

We did a lot of them.

Take the boat out to WL. Meet Dopey, Grumpy, SW and the evil Queen.

We did Trattoria Al Forno Character breakfast last November wouldn't do it again food was awful and poor character experience. When we left we went straight into Epcot and bumped into Flynn Rider just inside the international gateway and had the best character experience of any trip to Florida we've done. So I'd recommend Stroybook dinning on our list for next time we go and looks good on peoples vlogs

Thanks all. We did storybook dining last time. My mum and I enjoyed the food but my daughter didn't. Character interaction was great but I have never felt so rushed in a restaurant in all my 50 years. It was so pushily rushed that it completely spoiled the whole experience.
Can't believe it but I'm actually considering working some extra shifts to go to dinner at crt as that's where he really wants to go and eat $65 chicken nuggets!

Sad to hear that. We were at Storybook for almost 2 hours.

Always amazing how experiences differ.

CRT is good too. Expensive for sure They are 'royal' chicken nuggets so will taste better.
