My son who was 8 (now 9) said Epcot was one of his favourite theme parks. Are some good rides and all quite close together. His favourite bit was trying all the soft drinks in club cool. Frozen ever after is worth doing if theyre not a fan we loved it.

Its not a good park to be honest. The older Dibbers enjoy it because its quieter with less queues and there are a number of good ( but expensive) restaurants. There are also several festivals throughout the year but I cant see an eight year old boy being interested in flowers or wine😀

I think Epcot has some great rides - Test Track, Soarin, Frozen Ever After, Mission Space, Grand Fiesta Tour to name but a few. There is also so much to explore. The world showcase has lots of good food options. My girls are 8 and 11 and didnt get Epcot until we did it properly, its a park with lots hidden layers and has replaced AK as our second favourite park.

Here is all you need to know about Kidcot:

disneyworld.disney.go/en...cot-fun-stops/

There is a good amount to do in Epcot and some good rides, but please note that there is a lot of renovations going on there at the moment and there will be a few closures too, best to check out the Disney site to see exactly what is going on.

My kids were 9 & 8 on their last trip & loved Epcot. Youre right it doesnt have a lot of rides but Test Track & Soarin are great & there some fab characters to meet. Weve done both the passports & the card character at Kidcot but the passport definitely won with the kids & they love looking back at them.

We usually allow 2.5 days for Epcot. We take time to really look at each country & learn different things about them, find hidden gems & try a piece of food or drink from each place. Which really stretches out the time & makes it more fun for all of us 😊

My daughter was 8 when we went and although she loved doing the kidscot cards, she loved playing agent p on the Disney play app more.
