Ka car

Hi,
Don't really know where to post this thread so I've opted for the shopping forum as it would be a purchase.

Do you think a KA is too girly for an 18 year old lad?

Don't get me wrong, I know that ANY car will be appreciated by my son (18th bday present), & its going to be a lovely surprise because at present he thinks he's going to get some cash towards insuring him on my car.

We just want to make the right decision though, & even though I think I've found a right bargain, I can't help thinking they are more 'girlie' cars! No offence to any male drivers of KA's

So long as its not a girly colour... I would say it would be fine!

Mind you, when I was a 17 year old lad I had a Fiat Panda, so I am not really the best source of opinion on the matter!

Thanks, its a lovely bright metallic blue. Cheapest insurance quote we can find aswell.
I'd quite like it myself as it's 2 year's younger than my bottle green rover 53 plate!

Bought one for our sons first car as the insurance was so cheap compared to the cars he wanted. He's agreed to keep it for 12 months to get his no claims discount underway but then he wants to change it. At the end of the day it's better than no car!
