Florida with DMIL, part 2

In optimistic mood, I have written a Pre Trip Report.

So after having an amazing time in 2019, just me Sue (52) and DMIL Christine (74), are booked for November this year. (Pre 2019 we have been with all the family and the trips were very much full on) We are only doing MK one day. This is a take it easy trip and may be rearranged daily, due to my health and DMIL mobility.

It may seem strange to some but we actually do not go on many rides at all, we like the atmosphere, shows and entertainment. Not to mention the shopping and food.

You may have seen in other posts, both my DS and DD have health problems so life is quite stressful and I have bad health. This is a get away from all the problems and a bit of me time trip.

Pre Travel Day.. Private transfer to Heathrow, staying at Premier Inn

Travel Day... Ba flight to MCO, check in Holiday Inn Resort, we have upgraded to a suite.

Day 1... Cab to Publix (love this shop) get a few essentials. Then afternoon/evening at Disney Springs.

Day 2... Relax around pool, Hope to book afternoon tea at Grand Floridian. On to Disney Springs. See how we feel either stay at Disney Springs for dinner or eat back at the hotel.

Day 3... Early visit to Magic Kingdom. I love this park so much and went on Thanksgiving day 2019, it was amazing.Spend as long as we want/can in park, probably go to to Disney Springs in the evening.

Day 4... Visit Premium Outlets, last time we went we arrived at 9.30 and didnt leave till 4.30. So see how it goes. Hoping to book Cheesecake Factory for Dinner.

Day 5... Check out and check into Sapphire Falls. Look around,maybe do one of the parks.

Day 6... My Birthday! ..Pool day and hoping to book Chocolate Emporium for dinner, may pop to park at some time.

Day 7... Universal parks,resort and City walk for dinner

Day 8... Parks/Resort, Celebration maybe in the evening.

Day 9... Resort,Parks,Citywalk. Checkout day

Still to work on where we want to eat and things we want to try.

Sounds great! We really liked Sapphire Falls.

Sounds lovely and relaxed! My in laws have exactly the type of holiday like you now, they much prefer to chill and shop then when in the parks just take in the atmosphere of the place. I'm going to try and do the same when we next go in 2022, she says... !
