Help needed finding teen trousers

My DS currently is wearing a pair of age 16 next skinny fit jeans which I ordered online. Also has a age 16 pair of Levi jeans which again came from next. In store I don’t think they do older age range

Was going to post this, it’s 17 in Next for ‘school’ wear. I know as my son when 17 got a part time job and I bought their black school trousers for him which fitted well. They were the only place that would fit his small waist. For him too, the tighter fit at ankles was important.
Then the Next men’s adult clothes do also have a small waist.

I feel your pain and am also grateful for all these suggestions - my 12 year old (13 in a month's time) is already in age 16 trousers, when you can get them! We bought him some half price jeans recently from the GAP outlet store which do 28 inch waists and his last lot of school trousers from Asda but he's got to the end of their size range now so will be M&S until men's sizes! It is an utter nightmare, and tops aren't much better either, the sizing from XS, S and M varies so much! I keep telling him to stop growing
