Ok, so this twilight check in, I have a few questions...

Does this check in involve dropping all cases off and getting your boarding passes and there’s no need to go to the check in desk again on the morning of the flight?

Also, say you need to keep one case back at the hotel but check in 3 at TC. Do you get boarding passes then or do you have to wait until the morning of the flight and all cases are checked before you get boarding passes?

Thanks.
You get boarding passes when you leave your checked bags at twilight checkin.
If you have an overnight bag, take it to the bag drop before you go through security the day of your flight. (providing you haven't gone over your baggage allowance )

That's what we did a few years ago at Gatwick.

Wow - something that is happening when I'm travelling. For the first time ever I'm travelling UC (thank you Virgin Atlantic credit card and work travel) so I'm not sure how much this will benefit me this time. I'd have to pay extra to park the night before as well. I'm still going to think about it though. Thanks to the OP for posting.

Does anyone know of there's an easy short stay parking near the terminal to do twilight check in? We are staying at a hotel but not near enough to walk across

You can park onsite but it's £4 for 30 mins and I think £6.5o for an hour.

We take old clothes/ nightwear and throw them away .Also save almost empty toothpaste, deodorant etc and old toothbrushes. Anything else goes in hand luggage,or if we have a car,in the boot!
