Visiting A NHS Patient - Rules To Make You Smile.

My Wife went into Hospital this morning and whilst there we were given a Patient Visiting Leaflet.

Now I like rules as they make things clear but these made me chuckle.

Do not sit on the patients bed. Common sense.
Do not put your feet on the patients bed. As above.
Do not touch the patients wounds. Good God do people do that
Do not touch the patients catheter. Who would want to
Do not share a patients tissues. The mind boggles

I wonder if I will get told off when I read her medical notes tomorrow

Not sure why you even need to be told about these things.

You will be missing her this evening! Hope all goes well.

She’s doing fine thank you. Hip replacement surgery. Ouch!

I always have a read too. If anybody tries to tell me off I start asking questions. Lots of them.
