Mobile BC or Coronado?

Hi

So we currently have 5 night booked in BC for October with free dining. I've been trying to add a 6th night which isn't available as yet. I did notice 6 nights in Coronado standard room is available. If I take into account the dining upgrade this would be around £600 cheaper than the BC if we got the 6th night (also would parking be cheaper?). So... what would you do? We've never stayed at either.

Been twice to Coronado Springs this year and loved it. All rooms been renovated and superb quality. And so much to do with new Gran Destino Tower and Three Bridges Bar. Beach Club has great location for Epcot but many talk about rooms seriously needing a refurb.

Stayed at Boardwalk for 5 nights and in August and then moved to CSR for 17 Nights. We loved CSR it was so much nicer boardwalk. We stayed in Casita 3 and pretty much always got a seat on the buses and even though we had a car we pretty much used the busses 90% of the time going to parks. Never really waited long for a bus.

I am a bit torn on this one. We loved the location of BC (well we were at YC), but Coronado is also very tempting and we have it booked for late next year, we are in the new tower though with water view which is an extra bonus for us.

Don’t know about transport from CSR. We found the buses to and from the YC to be excellent, probably the best service we have had. However there were always a lot of people at the BC and there was always people without seats.

I'm torn too I'm just not sure that the walk to Epcot is worth £100 per night? I do like the food options at CSR too. We love rooms at both, Stromalong looks fun but my kids are swimmers and actually prefer a big pool that they can actually swim in rather than just playing so not sure if it ticks that box, not be all and end all though.

Yes that is what I was thinking too, you aren’t even going to want to go to Epcot every day. And now the Skyliner is running, the quick security is probably no longer the case. Although the area is nice generally not just for Epcot.

It does look lovely, but I also love the look of Coronado, I'll maybe just let the kids decide LOL

We have just come back from 10 nights at CSR and 2 nights at BC. These are a few thoughts

BC has excellent access to Hollywood studios and Epcot but would be around a 20 minute walk or boat ride to HS. The buses at CSR were good (if you stay in the Casita area you will be first on the bus to the parks). There was only one day that we had to stand on the bus. You would easily get to the parks in 20 mins so it isn't any quicker to stay at the BC.

The food court at CSR can be busy and 'canteen like' but the food was ok and general Disney offerings, the 3 bridges has limited choices but excellent food (check if this is on a dining plan)

Staying at BC with the DDP will cost you more money due to the tips you will be expected to pay.

Both hotels were clean and had plenty of room, the beds were really comfy.

If you wanted gondala transport to Epcot or HS you could consider CBR

If you are witout a car and want early transport to Star Wars, we found the taxi was $13 from CSR.

Storm a long bay was nice but it isn't really a 'swimmers' pool as it is shaped without any section over 15m long, it is also busy and the staff do a quiz/play music in the afternoons so it is not a quiet area.

Any other questions ?
