Sick of rain!

Waiting for a dry Sunday to take doggy on a long walk and find a pub for lunch, looked like we could do it this a Sunday and now the Spanish storm is here. Will we ever have a dry weekend?

I usually like winter. I love getting wrapped up and taking Tilly out for long walks. But this constant wind and rain is just miserable. We have had dark sky’s, wind and rain for nearly three weeks solid.
I am currently sat on the sofa with a blanket and Tilly on my knee and a walk is looking less and less likely today

It's terrible isn't it.

We seem to have had a storm every weekend for the last month or so. And it wasn't much better before that. It seems to have been constantly raining since autumn, maybe longer.

I feel for those people who are threatened by floods or are already flooded. There's no let up on the rain so their anguish just continues. We have a small leak in one of our side windows (I think it's coming in via a loose tile on the roof) but that's inconsequential compared to some people's troubles.

Bloomin' climate change!

Took my boy out for his walk this morning. Got absolutely soaked right through and the rain seems to have got even heavier since.

Looks like I might be skipping his afternoon walk. He won’t be impressed but I really can’t face it again!

Four weekends in a row we've had weather warnings here, I know it's winter but it's horrible walking the dogs in the rain both of em don't like going out, they love to be in the snow, I don't mind walking them in snow as long as its not too deep, but driving rain in strong winds is driving me nuts, I feel like I'm being kept in myself lol, currently sat on sofa with both dogs one beside me one at my feet, listening to rain and sleet pounding the windows and glad I'm indoors... Sandra first dry weekend you get your luck will be everyone else is thinking same and pubs full and you won't get in 😉

I’m absolutely freezing, and can’t even see outside due to the torrential rain. Miserable horrible nasty!

I need sunshine! I’ve realised definitely, after debating many times before, I’m definitely a summer person! I need to feel the warmth on my bones. All this rain is so depressing.

My lab and I go out in all weathers - he doesn't give a toss about the rain. I don't mind being out in it, but cleaning him up afterwards is a right pain, as he gets very muddy as well as wet and we start to run out of dry "dog towels" quickly.

We got pretty wet this morning and I'm now assessing when to go for our next walk. I need to go for a run too, so I might just kill the two birds with one stone.
