Just watching a programme that’s saying it wasn’t the Titanic that sank it was the Olympic and it was all a big insurance scam - how have I never heard this conspiracy theory before!

Olympic AKA Old Reliable was alleged to have broken her back and had a lengthy repair period hence the conspiracy theory.

The third sister ship namely the Brittanic sinking is a good but tragic read ref a WW1 catastrophe.

There were changes along the way, and it is possible that the hull destined for the Olympic then became the Titanics hull, but that would be a bit of a stretch to say it was the Olympic that hit the iceberg...

Some people just like a conspiracy and for the most part seem to want to avoid the truth regardless of the situation.

I started off watching it saying ‘yeah right’ but by the end of the programme I was almost convinced, especially when they showed you undersea footage of the wreck and you could see the letters M and P underneath where some of the titanic letters had fallen off - but maybe I’m gullible, I do love a good conspiracy theory 😀😀😀

I watched a programme about the Brittanic a few years back...that was really interesting.
