CFB. I buy the Architecture sets but I never open the boxes. All wrapped up and in cupboards.
Hopefully will be worth money when the Children inherit them in years to come.

There is certainly sense in your investment.
I had a work colleague who would selectively invest around £200 a month on Star Wars Lego, this being around the year 2000 onwards. He would place them in his loft, wait for their retirement and then watch the prices very carefully. He would generally unload them on eBay after around 7-10 years. A great way to invest and pay no tax on your gains. He certainly always beat savings rates.

I have the train set 3677 bought in 2011 for 90€.
I'm thinking of investing in more lego now as well. For the coliseum I think it would be a boring old build. Don't you cornish?

I have been there and the design, whilst awesome, is repetitive all the way round. I wouldn’t imagine that the Lego construction, whilst impressive, would be a bundle of laughs.. then there is displaying it.
I have to admit that my actual ‘dream build’ would be the mini figure Hogwarts... attached to the fake ‘MOC’ extension kit that is around 3 times the size of the Lego Hogwarts... I just have to justify around £900 of investment to my wife!

That looks amazing my mate just bought himself the barracuda pirate boat to build for fun. He went through a nasty divorce so has no wife to ask 😝

As much as I love Lego I don’t like the look of this at all.

My wife has said that I can buy it, but the Disney Castle must then go... I cannot make that sacrifice!
