Riu Plaza hotel New York

Hi, just wondering if anyone has stayed here and knows what the family room is like, it’s described as deluxe family twin room, there is 5 of us, Me, DH,DS21 and DD15&11, read a review on trip advisor that it’s not big enough for 5?

Hi I’ve not stayed here but have been to NYC a few times. Is there a reason you’ve chosen this hotel over others? I’m not sure I’d want to have five in a room - I’ve done four a few times and it’s ok but not ideal!

We stayed here in 2017 when it just opened. Lovely hotel & we had the family room. 2 double beds & sofa bed. Nice shower too. Not much room fir 5 of us but did the trick!

It was just that it was a decent price with flights with BA, it’s only for 5 nights and in New York you really aren’t in the room much, so I’m hoping we’ll manage😀

If your family’s ages work out, check out two rooms - it wasn’t much different for us and having two bathrooms will be a godsend 😂

The three of us were upgraded to a family room - the same as in the photo from loulou Disney - it was lovely - modern and very clean - fab location - would definately stay there again.
