Mobile After hours and lightning storms

I’m in animal kingdom at the moment, after hours event due to begin shortly, and we have a nice electrical storm brewing. Does anyone know if the event still goes ahead in bad weather? I will be gutted if we have paid such a lot of money to find things closed!

How did you get on? I'd be interested to know as we've booked this for the end of August at Animal Kingdom.

Well it went ahead, fortunately the storm was over relatively quickly and we didn’t get any rain although apparently the rain had been pouring at POR.
We have done all of the after hours events now and this one was definitely the one with the feeling of most space in the park. There weren’t that many rides open, but they were all pretty much walk on. I would guess we had a 10 minute wait for FOP, so we went on a few times 😃.

Thanks for the reply, we’re staying at Universal and not getting Disney tickets, but my daughter really wanted to take
me on FOP (she went with her Dad last year) so it’s our only shot of getting on it! Glad you enjoyed it.
