we found as VetPro paste helped when our elederly Lab would get an upset.
But first I would recommend to take vets advice! |

Same as above we use pro kaolin paste, starve for 24 hours and then introduce , rice and plain chicken for the next day and work from there

Tinned pumpkin puree worked for us. (Pure pumpkin not pie stuff, tesco and Sainsbury’s sell it)

Our Labrador has had an minor upset tummy over the weekend. We reduced her food and that seemed to help. If it hadn’t we would have starved her for 24 hours then introduced rice and boiled chicken. She seemed ok in herself - if it had been unwell or not wanting to eat or if it had gone on for longer than 24 - 48 hours we would have called the vet. Hope your poor doggie is better soon 😍

Our Lab was off her food with sickness for about 2 days last summer .On the third day we took her to the vets who prescribed omeprazol (which hubby and I both take )and chicken and rice .
The vet examined her but to check there were no blockages in her tummy . |

I would also recommend the rice and chicken. If it goes on for longer for 48 hours though, I would contact your vet. Our greedy but adorable lab had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis last month which required treatment at the vets but I knew when he was not better after a couple of days that we were not going to be able to manage things at home. Hopefully things will settle down for you but if not, I would contact your vet. We had to meet and hand him over in the car park, etc., because of COVID but everything was straightforward. I hope your doggy is feeling much better soon.
