We do love our fish and chips from Broad Haven so I think a visit there will be on our plans 😀

When my husband passed away over 3 years ago I let the back garden go, it was his “thing” and I couldn’t bring myself to go out there.

This year I decided to do something about it, this is how it was

The first picture was the fence that was my responsibility after the last storms of winter had totally destroyed it and the 2nd picture the neighbours

When I got my side done the neighbours then did theirs

I have rheumatoid arthritis and have done all the edges myself, lifting the slate and putting new weed stop fabric down and replacing the slate. It has been slow and hard going at times. My son put the new sleepers in place but the rest has been me

Just got the patio area to tidy up now if it ever stops raining and I am ordering some of the things from Olive and Sage

I finally have a garden back and one that I can manage now 😃

What a transformation, it looks really beautiful again. You did so well to do it all yourself too, now you can just relax in it 💕

Thanks ladies, it still needs work and i can often hear Richard shouting at me over all the weeds in the grass but I am pleased with it.
Was going to get someone in and have it all done properly but prefer holidays
I’m back at work Tuesday so the sunshine will be back then

It looks gorgeous, well done. I'm generally scared of doing much more than weeding and mowing the garden so can appreciate what a feat you undertook there
