Covid testing of Uni Students

My son is going back down to Uni next week and they have been asking for volunteers for Covid testing

He has signed up and they apparently want to test 10% of all students

Any other Uni doing the same?

Slightly different as my daughter is going straight into placement next week and she will be tested weekly as she is studying radiotherapy with oncology so is at a cancer centre.

Not sure about the actual Uni as she won�t be there until December.
It is good though that they are testing and good on your son for signing up 👍

Did this come through your sons uni? I cant find anything about it?

Yes, our Uni has set up its own testing for staff/students. I'm not going back onto campus so not part of that group

I currently doing my uni studies however it�s slightly different as we are based at a college rather than uni campus. So far not heard anything about being tested.
