Tests for Cyprus

Please remember to print off all test results and paperwork. My parents are in Cyprus now and they saw a couple turned away at Gatwick as they didn’t have everything printed off. They were showing their phones but to no avail. Weather is fab at the moment - still mid 30’s!

We had our results this evening so they’re ready for entry into the flight pass and printing in the morning 👍🏼

We are book in the Olympic Lagoon for my sisters wedding due to fly out on the 25th October

We are here and can confirm the stress was worth it! The hotel is beautiful and food has been really good so far.

How much are the home tests? I looked at one that was around £120pp so we’d need to take it into account when choosing a destination.

If you go on the TUI website there is a code which I heard brings it down to 85.00 but I haven't actually checked it works. The code is there though as I'm looking at Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa, but in two minds, for half term.

You won’t regret it! We were choosing between here and the sensatori Aphrodite Hills after our Turkey holiday was cancelled, but the sensatori isn’t near a beach and the flight times to Paphos were worse than Larnaca.

The Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa has been fab so far, we’ve got a beautiful room with a balcony and the restaurant selection is really good. Last night we ate at the buffet when we arrived, it was a Cypriot themed night and all really good. The cocktails are also amazing especially the strawberry daiquiri - strawberry cocktails are my go to around the world and always feature in my Florida food reports today we had breakfast in the buffet which was again really nice and we love that there’s an adults only outdoor section to sit in. For lunch we just grabbed something from the snack bar as they do prepackaged stuff that you can take to the beach - went to landa beach and Nissi beach - sea and sand are both beautiful and similar to what you’d see in the Caribbean! Landa is about 3 mins walk from the back of the hotel and Nissi perhaps around 20 mins. When we got back from the beach we went to the ice cream parlour which is fab with loads of different flavours and milkshakes too! So far so good 👍🏼
