We did a three night stopover in Miami this year as we got bargain flights into MIA. Loved it, and would consider staying in the south if we got those flights again, and dodging Orlando altogether. It’s around 4hrs up to Orlando, boring drive but doable

We have done Fort Lauderdale twice and really enjoyed it-close to Miami if you wanted a trip out as well

We did Miami a few days ago, loved South Beach and all the Art Deco hotels.

It is culturally different but very friendly and we had a great time. Got complimented on our accent a lot!

How do you book the stopover on an indirect flight so its free and not treated like 2 separate bookings? Do you have to phone or can online bookings handle it?

We’ve just been to Washington DC-absolutely loved the city.
